Located at 163 Brisbane Street in Ipswich, The Venue is a historic building that has been transformed into a versatile space for various events. Originally constructed in 1877 as the Ipswich Baptist Church, it underwent significant refurbishment in 1938, blending classical and Art Deco architectural elements. In 2012, the Ipswich City Council repurposed the building into a performance venue, offering four function rooms, including the Auditorium, suitable for performances, formal dinners, galas, wedding receptions, parties, meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
