Originally constructed in 1877 as the Ipswich Baptist Church, it underwent significant refurbishment in 1938, blending classical and Art Deco architectural elements. In 2012, the Ipswich City Council repurposed the building into a performance venue, offering four function rooms, including the Auditorium, suitable for performances, formal dinners, galas, wedding receptions, parties, meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
