Nestled in the lush Barrington River valley near Gloucester, The Steps Barrington Campground offers an authentic camping experience amidst natural beauty. Accessible by two-wheel-drive vehicles, the campground features spacious, uncrowded sites with unspoiled river vistas and friendly wildlife. Amenities include hot showers, flushing toilets, and filtered river water for drinking and cooking. Guests can enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or floating on the river, and explore a purpose-built mountain bike park with 3.5 km of cross-country trails, a pump track, bridges, and berms. Two large bonfire pits and two permanent shelters are available for hire, making it ideal for corporate events or family occasions. Please note, no domestic pets are allowed due to the close proximity of wildlife. Bookings are essential, especially during popular holiday seasons.
