The Settlement camping area, Springbrook National Park

Nestled within Springbrook National Park, The Settlement camping area offers 11 well-defined sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and campervans. Each site measures approximately 10m x 4.2m and includes an individual parking bay. The area features non-flush toilets, drinking water (which should be treated before consumption), and a cooking shelter equipped with free electric barbecues. Open fires are prohibited; fuel stoves are recommended. A short walking track connects the camping area to the top of Purling Brook Falls, linking to the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk. Mobile phone coverage is moderate; stronger signals are available from lookouts with views of the Gold Coast. Advance bookings are essential.
