The Piccaninny (Bainggug) is a scenic 2.4 km return walk in the Grampians National Park, starting from the Piccaninny Carpark along Grampians Tourist Road. This leisurely trail gently ascends through open forests of hakea, grevillea, and banksia, offering vibrant wildflower displays in spring. The summit rewards hikers with panoramic views of Mount Abrupt (Mud-dadjug) and the surrounding Dunkeld landscape. The track is well-maintained and suitable for most hikers, taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete. Parking is available at the trailhead.
