The Palms

The Palms, also known as Dampier's Palm Grove, is a picturesque public space located on The Esplanade, adjacent to Hampton Oval. This grassy area is shaded by numerous established palm trees, offering a serene environment overlooking the beach and Hampton Harbour. Amenities include a playground, barbecue facilities, picnic tables, and nearby toilets. The Palms is especially popular at sunset, providing a spectacular backdrop for weddings, parties, and other celebrations. The space is maintained by the City of Karratha.
