The Monaro Centre, located at 37 Monaro Hwy, Cann River VIC 3890, serves as a central hub for the Cann River community. It offers a variety of services and facilities, including a food bank, a commercial-grade kitchen available for hire, visitor information with maps and pamphlets, meeting and consultation rooms, and access to computers, internet, printing, and photocopying services. The centre also provides free 24/7 Wi-Fi, an op shop, and locally produced art and crafts. Regular classes and groups are held, such as playgroup sessions for children aged 0-5 on Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm, Reclink art classes on Wednesdays from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, a Friday night youth group from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Wednesday community lunches at noon with a gold coin donation.
