The Junction campground, nestled in Nymboi-Binderay National Park near Grafton, offers a serene riverside camping experience. With nine marked tent sites accessible via a short walk, campers can enjoy fishing, paddling, and swimming in the clear waters of the Nymboida River. The area is surrounded by lush wet eucalypt forests and vibrant rainforests, providing a habitat for diverse wildlife, including rare and threatened frogs. Facilities include picnic tables, wood barbecues (with supplied firewood), a car park, and non-flush toilets. Please note, drinking and cooking water are not available on-site, so visitors should bring their own. Access requires a 4WD vehicle, and the road can become boggy in wet conditions. For group bookings of up to 20 people or five sites, reservations can be made online. Larger groups should make a group booking enquiry. To protect the endangered eastern freshwater cod, all caught must be released. As a remote campground, it's essential to arrive well-prepared.
