Its versatile auditorium accommodates up to 338 guests with retractable seating, or 500 in an open-plan setting. The mezzanine level adds 64 seats, enhancing its capacity. Equipped with high-quality sound and lighting, the venue also features a full-size cinema screen. Additional amenities include meeting and workshop spaces, a commercial kitchen, and a Community Art Gallery. Since its opening in 2006, The J has hosted events like TEDx Noosa and performances by Australian and international artists.
