Established in the early 1970s, The Islamic Egyptian Society of NSW (TIES) serves as a cornerstone for Sydney's Egyptian Muslim community. Located at 53-55 Hume Highway, Greenacre, the society offers a range of services, including religious, educational, charitable, welfare, social, and sports activities. Notably, TIES manages Arkana College in Kingsgrove, a primary school operating since 1986. The society also publishes "Alhoda," a magazine that provides balanced views on religion, politics, and social issues pertinent to the Muslim community. TIES is committed to promoting understanding of Islam and fostering integration within Australian society.
