The Horn Lookout

Perched atop granite cliffs at 1,723 meters, The Horn is the highest point in Mount Buffalo National Park, offering panoramic 360-degree views of the Great Dividing Range. Visitors can enjoy a picnic at The Horn Picnic Area, located just below the summit, before embarking on a 45-minute return walk to the pinnacle. The area is renowned for its unique landscape, featuring twisted Snow Gums and a stone lookout shelter. It's an ideal spot to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, with the possibility of observing Australian Kestrels hunting Bogong Moths in the evening light.
