The Hayland Gathering

The Hayland Gathering is an annual Scottish festival held at Hay Park on Morgan Street in Hay, NSW. The event features highland dancing, heavy events, pipe bands, a street parade, market stalls, and a ceilidh. The 2025 gathering is scheduled for April 12, beginning with a parade along Lachlan Street to Hay Oval, followed by massed pipe bands, Riverina Highland Dancing Titles, Highland Muscle Heavy Events Competition, stalls, food vendors, athletic and children’s events, a shortbread competition, and concluding with a ceilidh at Hay Services Club and fireworks.
