
The Gymea Rovers, also known as the Como-Jannali Scout Hall, is a vibrant community hub located at 105A Soldiers Rd, Jannali NSW 2226. As part of the Gymea Rover Unit, it serves as a meeting place for young adults aged 18 to 25, offering a range of activities tailored to members' interests. These activities include outdoor adventures like bushwalking, canoeing, sailing, caving, skiing, canyoning, rock climbing, and scuba diving. The hall also hosts social events such as annual balls, bush dances, and State Moots, fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie among members. The Gymea Rovers are active participants in local community events, engaging in volunteering both within and outside of Scouting. Their involvement ranges from organizing fundraising barbecues to participating in ANZAC Day ceremonies and the Sydney Lord Mayor’s Picnic. This commitment to service and adventure provides members with opportunities to develop life skills, leadership abilities, and a sense of global citizenship.
