The Farm Shed Museum & Tourism Centre, located at 50 Mines Road, Kadina, South Australia, offers a comprehensive exploration of the region's rich agricultural and mining heritage. The museum features Matta House, a historic 1863 residence of the Matta Matta Mine manager, showcasing the late Victorian period. Exhibits include a life-size underground mine model, displays on pioneering farming techniques like the stump-jump plough, and a 1950s schoolroom. Managed by the Kadina Branch of the National Trust of South Australia, the museum provides self-guided tours and guided group bookings. Admission fees are $10 for adults, $3 for children, and $25 for families (2+3). Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and weekends and public holidays, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The museum is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.
