Nestled in the heart of Trentham, The Estate Trentham is a charming c1902 Federation house offering a serene retreat just over an hour from Melbourne. The spacious living room features wall-to-wall sofas and a wood fire, creating a cozy ambiance. Double French doors open to a north-facing garden, ideal for relaxation. The home showcases Turkish and hand-crocheted rugs, complemented by handcrafted light fittings, cushions, and throws. The property includes a renovated country-style kitchen with a Nectre baker's oven, walk-in pantry, and cellar. The main bathroom boasts a clawfoot bath and ornamental open fireplace. An original potato picker's shed has been transformed into a unique bedroom overlooking the herb gardens and mini orchard. Guests can enjoy fresh herbs, salad leaves, and vegetables from the harvest garden, as well as fruits from the mini orchard. The Estate Tea Garden offers a selection of herbs for making nourishing and soothing infusions. The property also features a large barn suitable for private bespoke events. Please note, The Estate Trentham is not suitable for children due to its delicate furnishings. Weekend stays require a two-night minimum.
