
The Coorong National Park, located approximately 156 kilometers southeast of Adelaide, is a protected area renowned for its diverse coastal lagoon ecosystem. Extending about 130 kilometers southeast from the Murray Mouth near Hindmarsh Island, the park encompasses the Coorong lagoon and the Younghusband Peninsula. Visitors can engage in activities such as bird watching, boating, kayaking, fishing, camping, walking, and four-wheel driving. The park is also of great cultural significance to the Ngarrindjeri people, who have a long history of living sustainably in the area.
