The Bluff, or Rosetta Head, is a 97-meter-high headland in Encounter Bay, offering panoramic 360-degree views of Granite Island and the rugged southern coastline. A 600-meter loop walk from the car park leads to the summit, where visitors can enjoy these vistas. From June to October, migrating whales are often spotted offshore. On the western side lies Petrel Cove, marking the start of the Heysen Trail. The area holds significant Indigenous history, with the Ramindjeri people referring to it as "Longkuwar." The Bluff is accessible via a one-way scenic loop road suitable for walkers and cyclists.
