Standing at 2 meters tall, the Big Tasmanian Devil sculpture marks the entrance to Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary in Mole Creek, Tasmania. This iconic landmark symbolizes the sanctuary's dedication to conserving the endangered Tasmanian devil. Visitors can explore the sanctuary's 82 acres of native bushland, home to various native species, including wombats, kangaroos, and quolls. Daily interactive tours at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm offer opportunities to hand-feed free-ranging kangaroos and wallabies, cuddle a wombat, and observe a Tasmanian devil social feeding. The sanctuary is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
