Thallon's GrainCorp silos, adorned with 'The Watering Hole' mural, stand as a vibrant testament to the town's heritage. Completed in 2017 by artists The Zookeeper and DRAPL, the artwork spans four 30-meter-high silos, depicting the Moonie River, a stunning sunset, and local wildlife. A scarred tree honors the indigenous community. The mural's creation was a collaborative effort with the Thallon community, inspired by local photographers' works. Recognized with the 'Best of the Best' award at the 2019 Australian Street Art Awards, the silos have become a significant cultural landmark.
