Terowie Railway Station

Terowie Railway Station, established in 1880, was a pivotal junction on South Australia's Roseworthy-Peterborough line, facilitating the transfer between broad and narrow gauge trains. During World War II, it gained historical significance when General Douglas MacArthur, en route to Australia, declared, "I came out of Bataan and I shall return," a moment commemorated by a plaque on the platform.
