
Nestled in a natural amphitheatre within Nangar National Park, Terarra Creek camping and picnic area offers a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts. The campground features nine unmarked, unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans. Amenities include picnic tables, wood barbecues (firewood not provided), and non-flush toilets. Visitors can enjoy bushwalking, mountain biking, and birdwatching, with Dripping Rock, Mount Nangar, and Mount Murga walking tracks just a kilometer away. Wildlife such as kangaroos, possums, gliders, and various bird species, including the turquoise parrot and little lorikeet, are commonly spotted. In spring, the creek is adorned with flowering pink honey-myrtle. Access is via unsealed roads suitable for 2WD vehicles in dry conditions; 4WD is recommended during wet weather. Please bring your own drinking water, cooking water, and firewood, and take all rubbish with you upon departure. A $6 booking fee applies; camping is free of charge.
