Nestled within the Terang Primary School grounds, the Terang & District Historical Society Museum is housed in the relocated Dixie School building. It showcases a diverse collection of photographs, newspapers, business ledgers, and memorabilia that chronicle the rich history of Terang and its surrounding districts. The museum is open on the third Sunday of each month from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with additional visits available by appointment. Admission is $2.00, and research services are offered for $5.00 per visit. Wheelchair access is available, ensuring all visitors can explore the exhibits comfortably.
