Built in 1826 by Irish convict Simon McCullough, this sandstone cottage evolved into the Jolly Farmers Inn by 1839. Located in Richmond's 'Irish Town,' it served as a hotel for fifty years before becoming a private residence. Restored and registered by the National Trust in 1973, the house now offers overnight accommodation and hosts private events. Visitors can explore its rich history through house and garden tours by appointment. The property is currently home to historians Margaret and Henry Reynolds.
