Housed in a former Methodist church, the museum features a colonial cottage furnished with original Australian colonial pieces, a slab dairy, a shearing shed, a blacksmith complex, and a Nissen Hut. Exhibits showcase rare machinery from the wool and dairy industries, as well as tools used by blacksmiths. Visitors can also explore a rose garden dedicated to Taralga's early residents. The museum is open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with tours available at reasonable prices. Morning tea and lunch can be arranged by appointment.
