The Sydney Live Steam Locomotive Society, established in 1948, operates miniature steam trains on the third Saturday afternoon of each month from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Located behind the West Ryde shopping centre at the corner of Anthony Road and Betts Street, the society features three miniature railways where visitors can enjoy rides on trains hauled by live steam locomotives. The grounds are ideal for children's birthday parties or small group gatherings. Entry is $6 for adults, $3 for children, with rides priced at $2.50 each. Advance online booking is required for entry.
