
The Surat Shire Hall, constructed in 1929, is a heritage-listed timber building located at the corner of Cordelia and William Streets in Surat, Queensland. Designed by architect Harry Marks, it showcases art deco architecture and has been a central hub for community events, including balls, dances, weddings, and parties. The hall features a Supper Room connected to the main hall by a covered walkway, and an adjoining courtyard area that enhances its versatility for various functions. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 8 May 2007.
