Nestled in the Blackwood Valley Wine Region, Sunnyhurst Winery is a family-owned boutique winery located just five minutes from Bridgetown's heart. Established in 2000, it produces award-winning wines from a Bordeaux-style vineyard, featuring varieties like Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings at the cellar door, open Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm, and explore the estate's romantic gardens, home to over 600 rare and heritage roses, fruit trees, and an ancient Moreton Bay fig tree. The property also offers a historic 1906 homestead and a turn-of-the-century grass tennis court. Please note, Sunnyhurst is a private residence; visitors are invited to enter the gardens upon arrival.
