Sailing is permitted through the Sugarloaf Sailing and Boating Club, with launching facilities available on Sundays and public holidays. Shoreline fishing is allowed in designated areas; a Victorian Amateur Fishing Licence is required. The park operates daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, extending to 7:00 pm during daylight saving. Dogs and solid fuel barbecues are not permitted.
