Sturt Reserve

Sturt Reserve, nestled along the Murray River in Murray Bridge, offers a picturesque setting for relaxation and recreation. Visitors can enjoy picnics, riverside strolls, and observe local birdlife. The reserve features a large, safely fenced playground with swings, rockers, a spinning drum, seesaw, and flying fox. For active visitors, there's a concrete skate park suitable for skateboarding and bicycles, a steel half-pipe ramp, and the "Rage Cage" for basketball, netball, hockey, and soccer. A highlight is the Murray Bridge Bunyip, a mechanical representation of the legendary water monster, located on the foreshore. The reserve also hosts annual events like the Murray Bridge Christmas Pageant & Fireworks Spectacular and the International Pedal Prix.
