Stuart Town, formerly known as Ironbark, is a charming rural community in New South Wales' Central Western Slopes, approximately 317 kilometers northwest of Sydney. Established in the 1850s during the gold rush, it was renamed in 1879 after Sir Alexander Stuart. Today, the town serves as a service center for the surrounding cattle farming and orchard industries. Notable landmarks include the heritage-listed Stuart Town Railway Station, which opened in 1880, and Boehme's Hall, a restored 1850s building.
