Housed in a 1901 school building, the Streaky Bay Museum showcases diverse collections, including a church altar from St. Canute's Catholic Church, a variety of birds' eggs and shells, flora and vertebrae specimens, and Aboriginal artifacts. The museum also features furniture and clothing, school and sporting history, antiques, and nostalgic items from the RSL. Notable displays include early agricultural machinery, blacksmith tools, a 1901 Royal Mail Coach, and a Straight Eight Nash Car used by Mrs. Sylvia Birdseye for passenger runs from Adelaide to Streaky Bay. The grounds feature the restored 'Pug and Pine' Kelsh Pioneer Cottage, showcasing items used by early Kelsh families from 1886, and a doctor's surgery used from 1920-1983, complete with a 'Both Iron Lung' and a large collection of surgical instruments and memorabilia.
