Stockton Lake, located 8 km east of Collie on Piavanini Road, is a picturesque artificial lake formed from a former open-cut coal mine. The campground offers unpowered sites suitable for tents, caravans, and camper trailers, with surrounding trees providing shade during summer. Facilities include flushing toilets on the east side and long-drop toilets on the west side. Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings between 6 pm and 10 am during cooler months; BYO firewood is required. Pets are welcome on leashes. Swimming is allowed at your own risk due to the water's low pH level; those with sensitive skin should limit exposure. The area is popular for boating and water skiing. Camping operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with fees collected daily in cash; please bring the correct amount as change is not provided.
