Stirling North Garden Cemetery

Located on Bowman Road in Stirling North, the Stirling North Garden Cemetery offers a serene and meticulously maintained environment for reflection and remembrance. Established in 1966, it comprises three distinct sections: the Lawned Section, the Unlawned (crusher dust) Section, and the Cremated Remains Section, which includes a Niche Wall and Remembrance Pathway. The cemetery is uniformly landscaped, featuring set headstones and bronze plaques, all ordered through the Port Augusta City Council. A dedicated contractor employed by the council oversees the upkeep, ensuring the grounds, lawns, and rose gardens are well-maintained. Notably, the cemetery houses a Vietnam War memorial, commemorating local soldiers who served in the conflict.
