Established in 1860, Steiglitz Cemetery is a historic site in the former gold mining town of Steiglitz, Victoria. The cemetery features beautiful iron fences and elaborate headstones, reflecting the town's rich history. Notably, it is the final resting place of Thomas Patrick Byrne and William Greaves, both of whom served in World War I. The cemetery is part of the Steiglitz Historic Park, which also includes other historic buildings and offers opportunities for bushwalking, picnicking, and gold panning.
