Stawell Uniting Church, located at 13 Scallan Street, is a historic landmark in Stawell, Victoria. Completed in 1868, it was originally a Presbyterian church and opened on April 11, 1869. The church is renowned for its Free Decorated Gothic architecture, featuring locally made bricks, a granite base, steep gable roof, and an octagonal tower with a spire. Inside, visitors can admire open timber scissor roof trusses, timber wainscot dados, stained glass windows, and a central timber pulpit with Gothic panel enrichments. A notable feature is the pipe organ, built by J.E. Dodd in 1920, which serves as a symbol of victory and peace. The church is an active place of worship, holding services every Sunday at 10 am. Additionally, the congregation operates a pop-up shop on the third Saturday of each month, offering a variety of donated items and refreshments, with proceeds supporting local charities.
