St. Mark's Coptic Catholic Church in Prospect is Australia's first and only Coptic Catholic church, consecrated on March 16, 2019. The church features traditional Coptic architectural elements, including domes and an iconostasis, reflecting Egypt's rich Christian heritage. Beneath the main sanctuary, a multi-purpose hall and education centre provide spaces for community gatherings, catechism classes, and social services. The church serves approximately 200 Coptic Catholic families in Sydney, offering a place to celebrate their faith and cultural traditions.
