St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Lurnea

Established in 1965, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lurnea is a welcoming parish community with over 5,000 members. Located at 71 Webster Road, it offers Mass services on Saturdays at 5:00 pm and Sundays at 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 6:00 pm. Reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The parish is home to two primary schools: St. Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School in Lurnea and St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Primary School in Prestons. Various ministries, including sfxYouth Youth Group, Care Group, Craft Group, and Catechists, actively engage with the local community. The Sacramental Program, supported by dedicated teams and parents, prepares children for Reconciliation, Communion, and Confirmation. The Parish Consultative Committee works to ensure an inclusive environment for all parishioners.
