St Saviour's Cathedral, located at 170 Bourke Street in Goulburn, NSW, serves as the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. Designed by renowned architect Edmund T. Blacket, this Gothic Revival cathedral was constructed between 1874 and 1884, showcasing Bundanoon sandstone and intricate stone tracery. Its impressive bell tower, completed in 1988, houses a peal of twelve bells—the only 12-bell country peal in the Southern Hemisphere. The cathedral's Forster & Andrews organ, installed in 1884, is celebrated as one of Australia's finest pipe organs. Visitors can explore the cathedral between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, where knowledgeable guides offer insights into its rich history and architectural beauty.
