Silverdale Rifle Range, situated at 395 Avoca Road, Silverdale, NSW 2752, is a premier shooting facility owned and operated by the SSAA Sydney Branch. Established in the early 1970s by benchrest shooters, the range has expanded to offer pistol, shotgun, rimfire fly, silhouette, and single-action shooting disciplines. The complex features soundproofed, undercover shooting areas, an air-conditioned clubhouse, canteen, and reloading room. Ammunition is available for purchase in popular calibres, including .22, .22 mag, .223, and 12g shotgun (clays only). New shooters can participate in the "try shooting" program on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with juniors requiring accompaniment by a parent or legal guardian. The range operates seven days a week from 9 am to 3:45 pm, except on public holidays, long weekends, and the third Monday of each month for maintenance.
