The Springsure Hospital Museum, located at 13 Woodbine Street, is a heritage-listed building constructed between 1868 and 1879. It is the oldest surviving hospital in Queensland designed on the pavilion plan, a design promoting cross-ventilation and sanitation. The museum showcases medical equipment, photographs, and records from its operational years. The building features locally made 1860s brick, a timber floor, and a corrugated iron roof. Notable architectural elements include three fireplaces and large double French doors opening onto a verandah, allowing for natural ventilation. The museum is open by appointment, with free admission and facilities including wheelchair access, toilets, and guided tours.
