Murphys Creek, QLD

Nestled in the Toowoomba Region, Spring Bluff Railway Station is a heritage-listed site renowned for its rich railway history and meticulously landscaped gardens. Established in the 1860s to facilitate trains' ascent from Brisbane to Toowoomba, the station was named after the spring water and sandstone bluff in the area. Decommissioned in 1992, it now serves as a picturesque picnic spot, especially during the annual Carnival of Flowers in September, when its gardens are in full bloom. Visitors can enjoy walking trails, picnic areas, and a café set in the original Station Master's Cottage. Please note, pets are not permitted on the premises.
