Established in 1997, Spiral Gallery Co-operative is a not-for-profit, artist-run initiative located at 47 Church Street, Bega, NSW 2550. As one of the longest-standing artists' cooperatives in Australia, it serves as a vibrant hub for contemporary art, offering both established and emerging artists opportunities to exhibit and sell their work. The gallery hosts a dynamic exhibition program, featuring solo shows, community group exhibitions, and displays by its own members. Its diverse offerings include paintings, sculptures, textiles, and handcrafted items, reflecting the rich artistic talent of the Bega Valley region. Spiral Gallery is the only open-access gallery in the area, fostering a supportive environment for creative expression and community engagement. The gallery is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
