Southwest Conserve Area South Cape Bay Walk Recherche

Embark on a captivating 15.4 km return journey from Cockle Creek, Australia's southernmost road, to South Cape Bay. This Grade 3 track meanders through lush forests, marshlands, and coastal heathlands, offering breathtaking views of the Southern Ocean and Lion Rock. The trail is well-maintained with duckboard sections, though some areas may be muddy or rocky. Upon reaching the bay, descend the stairs to the beach to explore its sands and cobbles. The walk typically takes around 4 hours; however, the return journey may extend beyond this time.
