Southern Moreton Bay Islands National Park

Located 40 km south of Brisbane, Southern Moreton Bay Islands National Park encompasses five islands—Willes, Cobby Cobby, Kangaroo, Woogoompah, and Coomera—spanning over 1,500 hectares. These islands are home to extensive mangroves and tidal flats, providing vital habitats for fish, birds, shellfish, dugongs, and turtles. Visitors can enjoy activities such as boating, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The park is accessible only by private boat or watercraft, with boat ramps available in neighboring coastal towns. Please note, camping is not permitted, and facilities like toilets are not provided; visitors should plan accordingly.
