Nestled beside the Boambee East Community Centre, the South Coffs Community Garden offers a vibrant space for locals to cultivate organically grown fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Established in 2017, this garden fosters community connections through shared horticultural practices and sustainable techniques. Open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings, it hosts workshops and events, including the Garden Gate Market on Sundays, where visitors can purchase jams, pickles, plants, and fresh produce. The garden also features a bush tucker area, orchard, and various flower and vegetable beds, promoting environmental stewardship and cultural appreciation.
