The Soldiers Memorial Hall in Kimba, South Australia, stands as a tribute to the district's servicemen and women. Originally erected in 1919 to commemorate those who served in World War I, the hall was purchased from Cowell, dismantled, and reconstructed in Kimba. The foundation stone was laid on October 8, 1919. A new hall was built in 1929 to accommodate larger crowds, with the foundation stone laid on July 6, 1929, by Miss Mary Amy Haskett, who had laid the original foundation stone in 1919. The hall was officially opened on December 7, 1929. Additions were made in 1958 to honor those who served in both World Wars. The original foundation stone is incorporated into the hall.
