The Soldiers Memorial Hall in Bute, South Australia, stands as a tribute to those who served in World War I. Established in 1922, the hall features a white marble foundation stone laid on March 8 of that year. A Roll of Honour, originally unveiled in 1916 at the Old District Hall, was relocated to the foyer of the new hall. The building was completed by Langdon Brothers of Kadina on November 11, 1922. Adjacent to the hall, the Bute War Memorial Garden offers a serene space with a rose garden donated by local families and community groups. The garden also displays a M2 A2 Howitzer Field Gun, dedicated to all who have fallen and served in Australian military service since 1914.
