The Snowtown Water Tower Art, painted by renowned artist Vans the Omega and completed in April 2018, stands as a testament to community spirit and local pride. Situated near the town’s centre, the formerly disused water tower now serves as a canvas for showcasing the vibrant faces of local volunteers and sports stars. Among them is Simon McCormack, the esteemed record holder of the Blyth Snowtown Football Club. One notable face adorning the tower is that of John Hansen, a stalwart member of the Country Fire Service for over 25 years, whose image prominently greets passers-by. Additionally, the tower features the visage of Jenny Cox, a dedicated volunteer with Snowtown Ambulance, further exemplifying the selfless dedication of the community members. The mural used more than 120 litres of paint and about 300 spray-cans, transforming the water tower into a vibrant tribute to the town's heroes.
