Smiths' Mill Campground

Nestled in the heart of Grampians National Park, Smiths Mill Campground offers a serene retreat amidst towering Stringybark trees and lush heathland. This historic site, once home to Harold Smith's sawmill from the early 1930s to 1950, now features 28 tent sites with adjacent vehicle parking and five drive-in sites suitable for camper trailers, caravans, and campervans. Each unpowered site accommodates up to six people. Amenities include non-flush toilets, a bush shower, and shared fire pits (BYO firewood). The campground is conveniently located just one kilometer from the stunning MacKenzie Falls and a short drive to attractions like Boroka Lookout, Reeds Lookout, and Zumsteins Picnic Area. Please note, dogs are not permitted, and all rubbish must be taken with you upon departure. Advance bookings are required year-round.
