Silo Art Dunedoo

Located in Dunedoo, New South Wales, the Silo Art Dunedoo is a captivating mural that showcases the town's rich heritage and natural beauty. The artwork features champion racehorse Winx, her jockey Hugh Bowman—born in Dunedoo—and trainer Chris Waller. The mural also depicts the local rural landscape, including black swans in flight, reflecting the town's name, which means "black swan" in the Wiradjuri language. The artwork was painted by Peter Mortimore and his wife Carolyn, who grew up in Dunedoo. The mural was completed in stages, with the final stage painted by Daniel Krause in 2021. The silo is located at 82 Bolaro Street, Dunedoo, NSW 2844.
