
Shōbōsho, located at 17 Leigh Street in Adelaide, offers a unique dining experience that fuses traditional Japanese yakitori with modern Australian cuisine. The restaurant features a specially commissioned cooking line, including a wood oven, hydraulic grill, rotisserie, and customized yakitori pit, allowing fire to enhance the flavors of simply seasoned, seared meats and vegetables. The menu showcases dishes like teriyaki chicken, potstickers, katsu sandos, and salmon tataki with ponzu and wasabi. The intimate yakitori bar, Shō, accommodates up to 10 guests, while the Sapporo Room offers private dining for up to 6 guests. Shōbōsho has received accolades such as One Hat in the Australian Good Food Guide Awards and Top 100 Restaurant in the Australian Financial Review. The restaurant operates Monday to Wednesday from 5pm until late, and Thursday to Sunday from 12pm until late. Please note that a 10% Sunday wage surcharge and a 15% public holiday wage surcharge apply.
